Who Should attend:
This course is aimed at managers and supervisors who have a responsibility for working at heights within their organisation.
Aims:
To provide delegates with a thorough understanding of the new “Work at Height Regulations 2005, dangers associated with this type of work, and how to implement the regulations and safe practices into their workplace.
Course Content:
Delegates will receive thorough training including:
- Legislation.
- Organisation and planning, competence and risk assessment.
- Selection of work equipment, guard rails/toe-boards, working platforms, ladders, positioning systems, fall arrest and restraint systems.
- Fragile surfaces.
- Falling objects.
- Inspections including records and reporting.
Candidate Assessment:
Test paper.
Qualification
On successful completion of the test paper the delegate will receive an ProRisk Safety Management Certificate which is valid for 3 years.
